We see hundreds of these bees when the horsemint is in bloom. They are small, with green eyes and a yellow shield-like marking on the face (on at least some of the bees). They are very active, rarely stopping to rest, and they will "bump" any other insect that lands on the horsemint blooms. They do appear to gather pollen. I have had no luck identifying them so far. These photos were taken over several days and I have included some with other bees/wasps for scale.

Went up to this park up in Richardson -- they are trying to be proactive to folks overfeeding the ducks at "Duck Creek Linear Park." There's indeed a large population of ducks, but there's a lot of lovely vegetation all along the creek too. That's good! :)
Spotted lots of other things along with ducks too. :)
