This species is spreading rapidly. New southern record for the Nelson population.

Note: Aphid specimens from this observation were sent to MPI for identification and confirmed as Aphis lugentis.

Female karearea observed in open beech forest in the Nina Valley. Appeared to be stashing prey but were unable to confirm.
