Single plant with one flowering branch, first found by Susan Hopkins, and considered (by ML) as possible Greata's Aster. As Eaton Canyon is the type locality, we have been on the lookout for any Asters. This one matches best the quite similar Corethrogyne. The very clean, green foliage does not match the densely woolly foliage of typical forms of Corethrogyne. Growing along the flowing stream edge along the west bank trail, N. of Midwick trail entrance. Thanks to Susan for her original correct posting and for taking me to this plant.
