This was great! In the morning, after letting the dogs out, I saw this bird on the lines in the alley. I eased out and began taking pictures. In time as I walked toward it it was unphased. At one point it dropped down into the garden and then in no time was back up on the line. and it remained. I eased forward until I was under it. For more than an hour I watched. It eyeballed me at times, and at one moment it raised up and shat! After greater than an hour it dropped down to my neighbor's yard and then in minutes, up to the fence. In time to run up and onto the first floor roof I captured it eating a mouse. There is a wing shot to see the inner wingspread pattern. And 2 shots with the 3rd eyelid closed. Super cool experience!
