Tissue Sampling Project (Marine Biological Laboratory)

The purpose of this project is to collect and identify specimens from a variety of local species found in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. It was initiated by University of Chicago Laboratory School student, Grace Anderson, in May 2016. A tissue sample will be obtained from each collected specimen. These samples will then be cataloged and sent to the Ocean Genome Legacy Tissue Repository, which collects and preserves DNA from marine species.
