Documenting the macrofungi of chaparral shrubland in the California Floristic Province. Please provide a habitat description for all observations added to this project, including all nearby plants. Chaparral is difficult to define in a broad sense that would encompass all fungal habitats that are of interest to this project, but the presence of certain plants help form a general idea:
Artemisia californica
Adenostoma fasciculatum
Rhus integrifolia
Rhus ovata
Quercus berberidifolia
Quercus wisilzeni
Quercus agrifolia
Eriogonum spp.
Arctostaphylos spp.
Ceanothus spp.
With some exceptions, this project does not include lichens.
