Scirpoides holoschoenus: the most observed sedge in the Iberian Peninsula

Scirpoides holoschoenus (https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/168639-Scirpoides-holoschoenus) is by far the most recorded sedge in the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic islands. This species is distributed throughout most warm areas of Europe and adjacent areas, especially common around the Mediterranean. However, whereas there are 509 observations for the Iberian and Baleares region so far, there are 715 observations for the whole Europe!
The fact that S. holoschoenus is the sedge with more observations may be due to its large size and easy identification (although it may be confused with Juncus species (Family Juncaceae).
