At the pond: Turkeys and pelicans on Thanksgiving.

Yolo Audubon will be hosting the 48th Annual Putah Creek Christmas Bird Count, the CBC, on Dec. 16th. It is part of Audubon’s 119th Count. There will be a bird identification workshop and sign up for count areas from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, the Davis Senior Center.
