Volunteers needed for Christmas Bird Count.

The 10th annual Carpinteria Christmas Bird Count will take place Saturday, Dec. 15. Teams of birdwatchers will fan out across a 15-mile-diameter circle to take part in the longest-running citizen-science project in the world. Volunteers are needed and participation is free and open to all ages and ability levels. Sign up at carpwithoutcars.org/cbc/.
