On lands of the Dharug and Eora nations (greater Sydney, Australia). I majored in plant biology / botany as an undergraduate, but didn’t end up becoming a botanist. I studied a bunch of aroids in my honours year, and I’m still an enthusiast of the family, especially Philodendron / Thaumatophyllum, Alocasia, Monsteroideae, and a member of the International Aroid Society. Also interested in Sydney region flora, ferns, large monocots, rainforest flora. Given the limits to my knowledge and time, I guess I’ll be more often helping with plant IDs than posting observations. 🏳️‍🌈
