May, 2021: I am a Hays County Master Naturalist for 22 years, a life member of the Native Plant Society of Texas, and have volunteered at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center for more than 24 years. All non-native plants have been removed from my home property (except for a few that are pulled out annually as they re-appear), many native plants have been added to increase diversity, and it is Certified Wildlife Habitat with no lawn and with a rain water system.
