Disc about 1 cm across, 5+ erect arm spines on each arm segment, banded arms, disc with snakeskin/camo type pattern - too difficult to see if granules or disc plates but primary disc plates not obvious.
I tried to gently flip the brittle star and photograph the ventral side, but this animal was very quick to turn over - I must apologise to everyone I have asked to photograph the underside it really is tricky, but does help a lot with ID! :)
