The plants are continuing to get browner and dryer. Some of the leaves have even cracked off. I don’t see any animal activity today. It’s pretty chilly and very windy.

Today is very cold and windy. The plants seem to be all dried up and brown for the winter. The dry leaves rustle in the wind and it’s much louder now that they’re all dried out. The steams seem much more stiff and the leaves are very brittle.

The leaves at the bottom of the plants are drying out more and getting more brown on the edges. The leaves are also losing their "seeds" at the top and seem to be droopy. Not very windy today is

The plants are looking more brown and droopy today. The leaves at the bottom of the stalks are still green but have brown edges now and look and feel more dried out. Still don't see other animals around.

There is more brown on the leaves today. The leaves are also more droopy than previous weeks. The stems and leaves of the plants towards the East are still more green than the ones closer to the building. However, they have gotten more brown over the week. There's a slight breeze that is rustling the leaves. The weather is a chilly 64 degrees and it is overcast today. I don't see any animals around.

There is little change from last week. There is still a good amount of green towards the bottom of the plants. The weather is not as hot and there are a few more clouds than last week. The wind has also died down since last time so there is less movement within the plants. I don't see any animal activity around the plants today. I'm out here a little earlier than I was last week.

Prairie-like grasses and bushes planted outside The U on the Eastern side.
Small clusters that are about 3 feet tall.
Have long, thin leaves that hang down from the stalks.
The clusters closer to the building, higher up on the slant, are brown while the clusters deeper into the slant are still some what green on the inside and brown toward the edges.
Stalks are very thin and have a grain the grows upward.
When you stroke towards the ground on the stalk, it's spiky and almost toothed.
The leaves are very flat and almost seed like.
8-10 seperat leaflets per leaf.
They grow in a "v" shape, like the spikes on an arrow.
Leaves toward the ground are still green on the ones closer to the building.
