Solitary winged insect on condominium siding in afternoon of a mid-June day. The structure abuts a Massachusetts conservation area with a forest steam and vernal pools. There had been light rain earlier.
Note the dark markings on the wings with tan transparent areas. There are three legs that aid in its attachment to the vertical wall. The antennae appear serrate as found in the female Chauliodes rasticornis (Spring Fishfly).

A spider found in a tent. The spider did bite the occupant. The location is twenty yards from a pond waterfront. The tent area is in an area of trees in pine barren forest next to the Miles Standish State Forest.
