Some discussion as to species. Its clearly leucistic, and probably has been around a year or two. I thought it was a mouse. Others thought chinchilla or chipmunk. Chipmunks and banded ground squirrels frequent this location (a bird feeder).

Sits in center of lake, usually with bill tucked in feathers. Sometimes gets active for only a few seconds. Smaller than the nearby Mallards. Seen by many people at this locale.
