Located perched amongst foliage in the island eucalyptus tree after seeing early ebird by Mark Nisbett and David Drews post. Viewed in late pm. Egret had left the area by the following morning.

Moving across the Firebrake Track . Stopped briefly before moving into grass area.

Several seen in flight and resting beside the Firebreak Track

Pleasantly surprised to find a Rose Robin foraging in the central garden thicket this morning. Moving through area back towards the SW .

Emerged from reed bed at Jerringot Wetland and swam towards the eastern side of the wetland

Adult male hunting insects on the salt marsh

Large group of approx 80 roosting in central part of the lake. Another 28 roosting on snags along the SW side close to the shoreline

Landed in central rose garden during a sunny spell. Extremely surprised observation of species at this time of the year.
