1 adult male and 1 adult female hopping around a small sugar maple. Actively singing.
Spotted hanging around the shallows. It was so still I couldn't really see it until it took off in a low flight across the water to the other side of the pond.
Got very close to this Downy. He was hoping around, exploring a honeysuckle pecking at the bark but not staying on any one branch for too long.
Caught a quick glimpse of this small guy jumping around on the ground before flying in a North western direction. Was surprised to see as I would have thought they would have already migrated through this area.
Lone Blue Jay heard close by. Nice and noisy, put on a performance when it started to rain.
