Description
SARA will be joining forces with the San Antonio Zoo's Wildlife Allies and Docent volunteers to do a bioblitz and park clean up at Brackenridge Park. We will be meeting at the San Antonio Zoo's Education Center (see link to view exact location) and dividing into smaller groups, rotating between making iNaturalist observations and cleaning up trash in the park.

The Zoo's Volunteer Coordinator and I are excited to invite both of our volunteer teams out to take part in this shared mission of ours! Please come prepared to walk throughout the park, wearing appropriate clothing that is breathable but also protects from the sun and closed-toed shoes! A hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and bug spray are also recommended. Please bring a reusable water bottle. We will be using iNaturalist to document different species of plants and animals at this park.

If you're not familiar with iNaturalist and would like to learn more, check out our Virtual iNaturalist Training on Wednesday, Sept 4, (Sign ups on MyImpact)! Questions / Comments email Samantha Villanueva message@volunteer2mail.com
