New Species For Alberta Discovered
On June 28, 2018, Paul Dennehy (@paul_dennehy) had a big night of moth survey work.
The first find was a small dark moth, that he later dissected and confirmed to be Aroga websteri. This new species for Alberta and is previously known only BC and SK in Canada as per Pohl et al. (2018).
That same day he also discovered the first Alberta record of Amydria obliquella, another new species for Alberta according to Pohl et al. (2018) .
