Baseline Survey

Today we undertook a simple baseline survey of the plot, identifying 6-13 different species. We noticed:
Clover
Dandelion
Dock
Grass species x 2
Thistle
Close identification was tricky as very few of the plants were in flower though the variations in the structure of plants and leaves was noticeable.
2/2/23
Since our initial survey we've noticed other species:
Bittercress sp. (possibly Cardamine pratensis - lady's smock/cuckoo flower)
Common groundsel
Wild teazel
Ragwort
Plantain (possibly Plantago lanceolata - ribwort plantain)
We also noticed at least 2 different mosses
