This is a project driven by the NGO Canary Islands Shark Alliance. With it, this Non-profit Association is promoting the:

1. Identification of Angel Shark (Squatina squatina) habitats and long-term monitoring of their populations.
2. Mapping groups and stable as possible of 'Squatina squatina' photos, records of depths and locations in the points more conducive to sustainable dives with the Canary Islands populations.
3. Open collaboration to record all sightings made.
4. Identification and creation of areas of environmental protection with ethical protocols of conduct observation of these sharks, as it is one of the first objectives of the Canary Islands Shark Alliance.
