Indigo Milk Cap Pigment Preservation

Excited to have found my first Indigo Milkcap and learn of the blue pigment this extrudes when cut. I am currently researching ways to preserve the pigment, as it seems to oxidize slowly to utilize in my work and will post any information I happen to find if it is of interest to anyone. If anyone has any information to share about this or preserving and collecting from other natural sources, please let me know! Heading out in the AM to collect a few of these to experiment with the color.
