I am an ecologist at the University of Alberta with a strong interest in species knowledge. As a researcher, I am particularly interested in how native and non-native plants are distributed across habitats and large spatial scales.

I identify plants for my research and during my free time, and maintain a herbarium collection. My favourite group is grasses.
