I am your typical plant nerd that has spent the last eight years as a biological science technician (plants) with the NPS (working around North Cascades NP, Yellowstone NP, Lassen Volcanic NP, Oregon Caves NM, and Lava Beds NM) and the USFS (Stanislaus NF, PIBO EMP). I am currently spending the winter at Joshua tree NP as an SCA intern working with the vegetation division and am hoping to get a handle on the amazing desert plants the occur around the region. I am alway looking for fellow plant nerds to geek out with in the park!
