My overall research interests have been shaped by my experiences working with tropical birds and marine turtles and involve understanding how human behavior and environmental change impact individuals, populations, and ecosystems. My experience training resident animals for husbandry and research, as well as conducting field-based research has given me a hands on opportunity to better understand the biology and behavior of a variety of species. Ultimately, I am interested in a career that aims to manage conflict between humans and wildlife via research, education and public outreach.
