I am interested in all things in nature. Whilst my primary interest is birds, the invertebrates in my garden and elsewhere come a close second along with reptiles. My enjoyment is learning identification and the ecology of the organisms so I gain an appreciation of their place in the world. Photographing the subjects allows enjoyment as well as the chance for later identification. Wherever possible I try and contribute my records to science projects to add to the greater knowledge bank.
