Originally from the US, I now live in Nelson, British Columbia. For years, I've had an interest in the birds of North America. In 2005, I began entering my bird sightings into eBird. Then in 2014, I bought a camera to document sightings. This led me to begin photographing and learning about butterflies, as well as developing an interest in other forms of nature.
