I am pursuing a major in Ecology and Evolution at the University of Maryland, College Park. I am also a research fellow at the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History where I work on a variety of projects related to Herpetology. My current research interests include the taxonomy, phylogeny and biogeography of Southeast Asian Amphibians and Reptiles, the systematics of North American Harvestmen (Opiliones) and studies of feeding ecology in snakes. As a naturalist, I enjoy both field herping and birdwatching in the Northeastern United States – with most of my observations concentrated in Maryland and New Jersey.
