CA mom who fungi spots (pro at former, amateur at latter). Observing other flora, and fauna, when not distracted by mushrooms. Prefer photographing in situ w/CanonEOS t1i and now t6i, Canon 60mm macro, and sometimes iPhone macro. Inspired by dear auntie, a published fern botanist, dear uncle, a plant physiologist (studied circadian rhythm in plants), and my brother, retired CA state parks interpretive specialist and ranger.
