My name is Mallory Scahill. I am a high school science teacher in northeast Vermont. I teach general biology, college biology, anatomy and physiology, and physics. Before becoming a teacher I worked for NYS Parks, preserving native grassland and oak savanna communities in Western New York. My main interests in biology are plant/insect interactions, invasive ecology, and ethnobotany. This account will be a combination of class data, and my own observations/ID's. I hope to inspire my students to get involved with citizen science projects such as iNaturalist.
