Hello all!

I am a self-taught naturalist and the founder of the Arthropod Faces and Organisms Found at Gas Stations projects. I also founded the iNaturalist Hall of Fame in April 2024, where I catalogue and feature what I consider to be outstanding observations.

My primary focus is insects, especially lepidopterans, though I dabble in fungi and wildflowers on occasion as well. I have also contributed to multiple Zooniverse projects. As of late 2023, I have begun uploading some of my photos to Wikipedia and creating articles there as well. Additional interests include other forms of biology, photography, and art.

If you would like my help with any lepidopterans, especially from the midwestern United States, feel free to tag me and I'll try to lend a hand. Though please keep in mind I am still learning, so I might not always be able to make a species-level ID, but I'll try my best!
