Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Texas Wesleyan University in Spring 2019. As a student who utilizes iNaturalist data in my current endeavors, Im fascinated by the effectiveness and positive impacts this tool has to offer. Within 10 years, the data on iNaturalist will be extensive and I see it only continuing to grow. Distributions of various species will be able to be monitored over time, and conservationists will have deeper insights into where they need to focus their efforts.

Okay that's enough about data, moving on to more about me. I'm an ambitious 23 year old that loves to take on new challenges. I'm constantly pushing myself to learn new things about the world. I believe iNaturalist is a wonderful way to do so. I've often found myself pondering the origin of life and all it's intricacies, but sometimes it's best for me to sit back and marvel at the beauty of nature and the endless possibilities that come with it.

Currently I'm interning for the summer with the American Conservation Experience as an Emerging Professional in Conservation (ACE EPIC). I'm working with U.S. Fish and Wildlife at the Texas Mid-Coast Complex National Wildlife Refuges in Brazoria, Texas.

I hope you all enjoy my observations, and I wish you all the best in your quest to connect with nature 🍀
