As a kid, I always loved bugs, but my passion fell to the wayside during my teenage years as I pursued more 'grown-up' interests. Then, as a 19 year-old in late 2021, I happened to come across a praying mantis on my TAFE campus and quickly became obsessed once more. Now I think I might be addicted to iNaturalist...

I'm slowly growing my knowledge of praying mantises and jumping spiders, which are my favourite invertebrates. I seem to have retained some random knowledge from a birdwatching phase I also had as a child, but I'm pretty clueless about everything else.
