MSc Botany Student working on my dissertation on the Bio-geography and evolution of three Nemesia Vent. (Scrophulariaceae) species in Namaqualand. I specialize in taxonomy, pollination, ecology and biogeography. My interests also include biodiversity conservation, phylogenetics and rehabilitation. My Honours research project was on the Vegetation ecology and pollination biology of Raphionacme hirsuta (Apocynaceae). I have familiarity with a range of vegetation types from various provinces, as I grew up in the Eastern Cape, study in the Free State, did research in the Northern and Western Capes and live in KZN. I am also currently working as a Herbarium Assistant at the Geo-Potts Herbarium and serving on the Free State Botanical Society committee.
