I'm an ecologist working at a desk, so I enjoy whatever time I spend outdoors. I'm most familiar with butterflies and birds but love learning more about the often-overlooked organisms around us, and am broadly interested in wildlife and plants. I also appreciate traveling to see what is local and familiar in different places, without trying to complete lists.
