My name is Drew Stewart. I graduated from Texas Christian University in 2021 with a B.S. in Environmental Policy and Sustainability. I am the sustainability coordinator at The Orion Amphitheater and manage intentional wildlife spaces on the property.
I volunteer as Park Naturalist at Hays Nature Preserve and Goldsmith-Schiffman Wildlife Sanctuary. I am managing the projects for these two parks to document the species that occur here.
I also volunteer as a Naturalist for the Land Trust of Alabama. I serve on the Education Committee and Resource Advisory Committee. I hope to educate the public and help provide valuable scientific information in this role.
I work at the Huntsville Botanical Garden as an educator to raise awareness of the many species that occur in the garden and in guests' backyards.
Between the three organizations, I work as a naturalist for 10,000+ acres. I am looking to do species surveys for some private landowners in Huntsville over the summer as well.
I have had one sustainability review published recommending actions for TCU. It laid out plans to follow with regard to the on-campus urban wildlife and wild space.
