My name is Derek Hameister and I am a 22-year-old avid birder from Southern California. I placed 3rd in the 2020 Top 100 List for the ABA area as well as 3rd in the California top 100 in 2021. I've been published by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology on numerous occasions and appeared in their recent 2022 calendar. Currently working on expanding my biological horizons into plants, butterflies, reptiles, and anything else that catches my eye.
