Hello everyone. I am a middle school science teacher who is currently certified with North Texas Master Naturalists through Texas Parks and Wildlife. Being a naturalist has been very rewarding, as it is increasingly important to reconnect our communities with the natural world around us.

My particular favorite aspects/interests of being a naturalist include: outdoor education & public outreach, conservation, habitat restoration, species ID, birding, herping, fossil hunting, star parties, and wild edible foraging.
I love iNaturalist. The app makes exploring nature so fun and efficient. Having this platform to document the biodiversity around the world is incredible!
