I work on plant systematics, but I'm also interested in natural history more generally. I love herbaria, I love georeferenced nature photography, and I love getting to know new floras.

Current PhD student in the Soltis Lab at the University of Florida. Former Masters student in the Bailey Lab at New Mexico State University. My main interest is Lamiaceae, and I'm always looking to see new mint species in person (see my mint observations).

Here are some of my pet projects in the states I've lived in and gotten to know.
- Florida Mint Monitoring Project
- New Mexico Mint Monitoring Project
- Oregon Mint Monitoring Project
- Wisconsin Mint Monitoring Project

Head over to my Vascular Plants of Central Florida project to take a look at what's going on in Central Florida. The project was designed to consolidate observations that can be keyed out using Wunderlin and Hansen's flora.
