More an iShutterbug than iNaturalist (;-) but hoping to contribute some useful data points in the form of images. Grateful to all fellow - and more experienced/knowledgeable - members for collaboration, contributions. Peace.

Preferred iNat camera is Sony HX400V, with these important features: 50x digital zoom, really good macro capability, GPS and Wi-Fi to send images to phone or tablet. The long zoom is especially awesome for tight shots of butterflies on flowers from a comfortable distance (at max zoom, minimum focus distance is several yards). I sometimes use my iPhone with one of those clip-on lenses, usually the macro for a plant close-up.
