Trailside, near edge of beaver-cattail pond; pond occupies former trail, suggesting pond has grown in size in recent years.

Active spore dispersal - spores released when I touched the shorter, brown, dark sporophore.
Note dusting of spores on tropophore, making it whitish.
Note that taller green sporophore was not releasing spores yet.
