The tall shoot that branches out all at the top with thin pedicura and tiny circular leaves gave this plant away as a peppergrass. It was growing in hard, dry polluted soil with other grasses around a tree by the curb and a busy street. It was in full sun and I’m pretty sure this plant was dead.

I not sure I identified this correctly however I chose Conyza because these flowers were more spaced out than the suggested horse weed and they were not colored like the suggested asters. These were growing behind a concrete wall in a construction area with a bunch of other plants of the same species in gravel. They were in the shade when I saw them and there were some other plant species nearby.

This was growing between two houses close to the sidewalk in an overgrown area. There were no cultivated plants around only weeds so this is wild grown. I can tell it’s a sumac because of the branching pattern and leaf color. It was in partial sun and in dry soil with many other weeds.

This was growing in full sun on in a crowded weed area near the curb in a neighborhood. The soil was polluted, hard and dry and many other weeds were growing near this plant, including other goldenrods. I knew this was golden rod due to the yellow flowers and narrow leaves. These are a common plant in New England.

This was growing in full sun on a chain link fence about and it extended along the fence for about 10 feet. The ground it was growing from was right next to the sidewalk and it was very dry. The top three suggestions were parthenocussus, verbatim and sambucus. Due to the fact that this plant was growing up a fence, and it’s color and no flowers I knew it was a “creeper”. These plants are common in New England.
