A single moose booking it along the edge of the lagoon, up to trail that runs parallel to Minnesota/L, and then running north on the path. Hope it didn't encounter too much trouble with anyone, it was really moving.

Early moose this morning in neighbor's yard. Walked by the basement window, interrupting a zoom call. Later observed bedded down behind house.

Unusual to see moose droppings so wet and clumped together at this time of year. Typical winter droppings are hard, distinct pellets. A sign of condition or distress?

On third look, something else is clearly going on with this moose and it's left cloudy eye.
