Almost circular leaves with erect hairs, about 10 stamens on one side of 2 carpels.

Plant is a shrublet with wiry decumbent branches. Leaves mostly set at about 90 deg to branchlets. Stalked flowers have sepals with hooked hairs and large obovate petals each with an emarginate apex. Five to 6 sub-equal stamens stand upright on one side of two carpels. Styles spread outwards from the lateral sides of each ovary.
