Spotted 2 together in a grassy field.

Saw a couple of these guys, each in a different ares.

This was my only really interesting find of the day. I heard the song, and managed to spot it high up in a tree branch.

3 geese moved past overhead, as geese tend to do. Not much other behavior out of them.

Saw a couple of these near the edge of the wooded area, moving about high up in the trees. I think I just saw a pair, and they moved past quite quickly.

Saw 3 of these guys get into a squabble with a raven over a small carcass.

There were plenty of gulls out, but only one perched close enough to identify. Yellow feet and a dark mark on the end of the bill.

These guys were far away, but it looked like 2 females and a male. I think they were mallards because I thought I could see the green head.

Spotted 2 poking around in the grass together at battery park.

Just saw one of these guys, and he only stuck around for a second. Perched briefly in a tree.

Just saw one flying low over the river, but heard a lot more in the distance.

I found 3 downy woodpeckers, 2 males and a female, on some small dead trees, very low to the ground. I even got to witness a little despute between the 2 males, which was pretty cool.

Saw one pair and one individual, far from the large groups of a few weeks ago.

There were a good number out in the graveyard that I walked through, moving between different trees. It was way too hard to get a count on them, but I think I saw about 4 at once at the most.
