Or at least the North American version of this species which still need names. Mixed hardwoods & pine. GSMS Winter Foray. In leaf litter and appears to be on very well rotted wood. Or maybe H. angustata?

Grassy area, loblolly pines nearby. Also about 10 standing stems with caps missing, maybe harvested by animals? Photo 7 a top view of a whole fruit body with one of the "stem only" versions along side. Next to last photo with young button on the left being attacked by Mycogone rosea (see separate observation). Last photo after squirrel raided my basket and munched on the base and gills.
