The tree I am IDing looks similar to this but it doesn't seem like this is a common species in my region. Also it is a city planted tree. Maybe it is an American Elm?

Huge plot of chicory! There were so many that you could see a rare variety of Gene expression. It was the first time I saw such a light colored and pinkish version of the flower. There were also flowers with purple/blue and a light ring of pink near the center.

I was told the ones in my photo open at night time. It was not in any of the suggested species descriptions, but it is also why I do not have a photo of them open.
