The bottom specimen on pic 3 is https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/156692053. Note its different shape and texture (the texture difference is more noticeable in person).

Currently abundant-ish at the location. It turned pale greenish after being kept indoors for a while; pic 2 shows original coloration and wild host.
The host in the first pic is a miniature hot pepper I bought as dodderfood. Parasitization was fully successful.
