Probably. In grass. Smells like dirt and lawn ;) Mild tongue test. Firm, nearly cartilaginous stipe. Slight reddening in KOH of damaged/bruised area. Spores verrucose, 4-spored basidia, no cystidia.

The white berries from last year have turned black, and the new leaves and developing flowers seem unusually bumpy, flowers not developing properly - fused to new leaves. ? See photo 5 and look at the ends where you would expect flowers to be starting - instead you see misshapen leaves and tips. ? plant virus, pathogen, pest?

Native plant garden at the school. Note three thin lanceolate leaves below flower head - petals that have been nibbled on by something... The sinuses in the main leaf are black - didn't notice that until I got back. Unsure if insect or?
