Trinity is a mountainous, rugged interior county in northwestern California. It includes the Trinity Alps which hold the richest diversity of conifers in North America, and reportedly (but without any substantiation), an undescribed giant salamander,. trinity County also holds part of the massive Shasta-Trinity National Forest, Trinity Reservoir, and being one of the least populated counties in California, only a few very small small towns. There are areas of montane chaparral, small patches of grassland near the the town of Hayfork, and several rivers. This is a record of all of the plants, animal, and other wildlife I've found and photographed in Trinity County.
